Subject: Required Tangled Hangers
Sound quality is pretty good throughout the set..certainly no distortion as reported in the review of the second set/different source. Chatty at times, but what are you going to do?

Wanted to highlight the Tangled Hangers from this set as no one has mentioned it yet. At around the 4:40 mark of the piece, SK changes his tone, Rodney picks up on it, and they are off to the races. The next 3-4 minutes is white hot virtuosity from all players involved, and a very disciplined and well-rounded peak to finish things off prior to the "middle eastern" section. This is the best Tangled Hangers I've come across in quite some time. Quite some time.

Avalon is decent, but I found the T N G to be disappointing - perhaps given the set placement.
However, as has been talked about on the Kimock list, one piece can raise the standard of the set on its own (even when the rest of the set is lacklustre) and this is a case in point. 5 stars based on the Tangled Hangers alone. It is that good.

However, thanks to the Live Music Archive the show is now complete via 2 sources. Enjoy all of it at once now :)
